Connie is listed in Claude’s connector directory. Add it once and you can use it in Claude on the web, in the Claude desktop app and in Cowork. It works on every Claude plan, including Free. Where in Connie: click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar → Connect my agent → Claude · https://connie.ai/<workspace-id>/connect-agent/claude For Claude Free, Pro and Max. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds Connie first; see Team and Enterprise below.
1

Find Connie

Go to claude.ai/directory/connie. Or, in Claude, click Customize in the sidebar, open the Connectors tab, choose Discover (or click + next to Connectors) and search for Connie.
2

Connect

Open Connie and click Connect to Claude.
3

Desktop app only: continue in the browser

If you’re using the Claude desktop app, your browser asks “Finish connecting a connector?”. Click Continue connecting.
4

Allow access in Connie

Sign in to Connie if you’re asked. On Access your Connie workspace via MCP, choose your Default workspace and click Allow access.
5

Set tool permissions

Back in Claude, Connie shows Connected. Click Your tool permissions and set Interactive tools and Read-only tools to Always allow, so Claude can use Connie without asking you each time. You can choose Needs approval instead if you’d like Claude to check with you before it changes anything.
6

Turn Connie on in a chat

Start a new chat, click +, open Connectors and switch Connie on.
7

Try it

Send: “Find 10 VPs or Heads of Sales at US B2B SaaS companies with 50–500 employees, and go ahead and save them to a new list in Connie.”
Connectors belong to your Claude account. Once Connie is added, it’s available in Claude on the web, the desktop app and the mobile app.

Team and Enterprise

On Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds Connie for the whole organization once. Then each member connects their own Connie account.
1

Owner: add Connie to the organization

In Claude, go to Organization settings → Connectors → Browse connectors, open Connie and click Add to your team. On Team, only Owners and Primary Owners can do this. On Enterprise, Owners, Primary Owners and people with a custom role that includes Manage access to Libraries can.
2

Owner (optional): set tool permissions for everyone

Owners can set Connie’s tool permissions (Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked) for the whole organization.
3

Each member: connect your own account

Go to Customize → Connectors, find Connie and click Connect. Sign in to Connie, choose your Default workspace and click Allow access.
4

Each member: turn Connie on in a chat

In a chat, click + → Connectors and switch Connie on.
On a Team plan, members who can’t add connectors see Request instead of Connect. Clicking it asks an owner to add Connie.

Add Connie as a custom connector (alternative)

Use this if you can’t use the directory listing, for example because of your organization’s settings.
1

Open Connectors

In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
2

Enter Connie's details

Name: Connie. Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.connie.ai. Click Continue.
3

Choose the sign-in settings

Review the authentication Claude detects and click Continue. Keep sign-in with OAuth (for example Sign in now). Under OAuth client, choose Register automatically: Connie registers Claude by itself and doesn’t use Claude’s published identity or your own client ID and secret. Don’t add request headers. Click Add.
4

Connect

Click Connect. Sign in to Connie, choose your Default workspace and click Allow access.
On the Free plan you can have only one custom connector. The directory listing doesn’t count toward that limit.

Good to know

  • Plans: Connie works on every Claude plan through the directory, including Free.
  • No API key needed. You sign in with your Connie account. Don’t paste an API key into Claude.
  • Don’t use claude_desktop_config.json. That file is for local servers only. Connie is a remote connector, so add it in Customize → Connectors or from the directory.
  • Which workspace Claude uses: the Default workspace you picked, unless you name another one in your request. See Manage access.
  • Credits: actions use your Connie workspace’s credits, exactly as in Connie. See Credits.
  • To disconnect, remove Connie in Claude under Customize → Connectors, and revoke it in Connie. See Manage access.

Troubleshooting

Why: on Team and Enterprise, only owners can add connectors. Fix: use the directory listing in Customize → Connectors, or click Request to ask an owner to add Connie.
Why: Connie is switched off for this chat. Fix: click + → Connectors and switch Connie on. Then check that its tools aren’t set to Blocked under Your tool permissions.
Why: the tool permission is Needs approval. Fix: open Connie in Customize → Connectors → Your tool permissions and set Interactive tools and Read-only tools to Always allow. On Team and Enterprise, an owner may have set this for everyone.
Why: reconnecting reuses the workspace you picked before. Fix: revoke Claude in Connie first, then connect again. See Manage access.
