This page answers common questions about your data in plain language. The legal documents are the official versions: If anything here differs from the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy applies. Connie is provided by Conigma, Inc.

Where your data is stored

Your workspace data is stored in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany. Tokens for AI apps connected to Connie are stored as hashes, not in plain text. Passwords and sign-in credentials for the apps you connect are encrypted or held by the provider that manages those connections. Payments are handled by Stripe. Connie never stores your full card number.

Does Connie use my data to train AI?

No. Connie doesn’t use your data, including your messages, records, Slack content or anything accessed by an AI app through MCP, to train AI models. Connie’s own AI features only use AI providers that don’t train on the content Connie sends them. When you connect Connie to another AI app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…), whatever Connie returns to that app becomes part of your conversation there. That app’s provider handles it under its own privacy policy. See What AI apps receive below.

How long data is kept

Delete your data

Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription immediately and removes access for everyone. If it was a mistake, email support@connie.ai within 7 days and it can be restored. A restored workspace comes back on the Free plan.

What AI apps receive through MCP

When you connect Connie to an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT (how):
  • The AI app only gets the data a tool returns when it asks for it, such as a record it looks up or a list it reads. Connie never sends your workspace to the app on its own.
  • It can only reach the workspaces your Connie account belongs to, with your permissions.
  • Connie doesn’t read your conversation with the AI app, its memory or the files you uploaded there.
  • Connie keeps a short record of each tool call (which tool, when, whether it worked) for up to 30 days. It doesn’t store what was sent or returned.
  • Revoking access in Connie stops the app’s next request. Data already returned stays in your conversation history in that app. Delete it there if you need to.
When the notetaker joins a meeting, Connie can post a notice in the meeting chat saying the meeting is being recorded. Owners and admins control this in Settings → Calls with Show consent page and Consent message. You’re responsible for meeting any recording-consent rules that apply to you and your meeting participants. See Meetings.

Data about people you find with Lead Finder

When you search for leads or enrich records, Connie looks the information up from business data providers and public sources at that moment, and stores the results only in your workspace. Connie doesn’t build a shared database of people across customers and doesn’t sell this information. Your workspace decides how it uses that data and is responsible for having a lawful basis for its outreach. If you’re not a Connie user and think a Connie customer has stored information about you, email support@connie.ai with the email address, phone number or profile URL concerned. Connie will find the workspaces that hold it, pass your request to each one, and help them delete it. See the removal section of the Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to some processing. To make a request, email support@connie.ai.
