# Instantiate a template

> Creates a new workflow or table from a template. All graph node and edge IDs
are remapped to fresh UUIDs so the new instance is fully independent of the
source. Returns both the new table entity and the remapped workflow graph.
The caller must PUT the graph to `/api/workflows/{id}/graph` to persist it.

API for managing, listing, and instantiating workflow, table, and row
    templates.

Templates allow teams to share and reuse pre-built workflows and table
    structures

across workspaces. Instantiating a template creates a new, independent copy
    with

    remapped IDs.
