# Mark notifications as read

> Marks your unread notifications as read. Send `workspace_id` to stay in one workspace, and `notification_ids` to mark only those rows; with neither, every unread notification in every workspace is marked read. Marking an approval notification read also marks it read for the other people asked to approve the same step.
