# Remove a connected account

> Disconnects an account and clears it from any workflow steps that selected it. `soft` (the default) is Remove, `hard` is Disconnect, and `purge` permanently deletes the account and its data (admins only, irreversible). Only the person who connected it, or an admin, can remove it.
