# Resume a paused HITL workflow

> Resumes a Human-in-the-Loop paused brain workflow after the user connects an integration or chooses to skip. Verifies the user matches the original requester, re-validates tool args against schema, builds resume message with provider/account context, creates a new brain_request, starts Temporal workflow with forceTool or skipIntegrations directives, and marks pending_tool_actions as completed.
